Viewing Platforms and Celebration of Violence

This is absolutely despicable, but recall when Israelis would set up viewing platforms to watch the bombing in Gaza. They would take school children up there on school field trips and say, "Look at the bombs dropping on Gaza." Well, they're doing it again, but now they don't have a perch to watch bombs dropping on Lebanon, so they've set up a screen instead. This is not a healthy society. People are sitting there cheering bombs being dropped, set to music like cinematic theater. Thousands of people in Lebanon have been killed. Thousands upon thousands of people in Gaza were killed—30% of them were children. Yet Israelis were sitting on perchtops drinking drinks, eating snacks, and watching the show. Now they're doing it again in Lebanon. This is unbelievable what has happened to this society.

The "Spoiled Child" Analogy and Unconditional Support

This situation can be understood through an analogy of parenting after divorce. When you feel so bad for the child, you give them everything they ask for. They ask for an Xbox, you give it to them. They ask for candy, you give it to them. They ask for a sleepover, you give it to them. They ask for their girlfriend to move in when they're 16 years old and you give it to them because you feel so bad about the divorce. And then you end up with rotten children. That's what's happened to Israel. Because we said, "Oh, we all feel so bad about what happened during World War II, we feel so bad about the Holocaust. We'll give you anything you want, anything." Germany is the worst example of this. Germany gives anything Israel wants. They don't ask questions. I get why their guilt complex is so strong that they're like, "Anything you want, anything you want. We totally screwed your mother over and left, and it's all of our fault. We get it, we get it." And so they just give them anything they want. But when you do that, you're not doing them any favors. This isn't loving or helpful. This is what happens—you end up with a society that is watching bombs being dropped on children and celebrating it.

UN Report on Targeting of Children

An entire UN report just came out that details Israelis targeting children as part of their policy. They targeted children in their genocide of Gazans. They shot babies in the head that were breastfeeding. They shot little girls who were just trying to survive 300 times. They sexually humiliated teenage girls that they detained. They shouldn't have even detained teenagers, but they detained them and then they sexually humiliated them. They raped people. Regarding what they did to children, because they don't view them as humans—they view them as animals. They view 10-day-old babies, 10-day-old baby boys that are breastfeeding, as a threat. They say, "Oh, we've got to exterminate you." Their reasoning is that if we don't exterminate you, you're eventually one day going to come and exterminate us. It's their preemptive strike. It's preemptive genocide is what it is.

Israeli Media Statements on Gazans

Listen to what an Israeli TV commentator said: "I don't pity these Gazans. I don't think there is anyone in the state of Israel, in the land of Israel, who should pity these Gazans. Not adults, not the elderly, not the young, and not children. What we went through here on Simchat Torah and what the families and their loved ones are dealing with now, that is who we should pity. The fact that there are tens of thousands of families in the south and north who still haven't returned to their homes, people dealing with bereavement, with a reality they were born into one morning that they never experienced, that is who we should pity. As far as I'm concerned, let them starve to death. Why should I care about them?"

Discrepancy Between Hebrew and English Rhetoric

It's important that we listen to what these people say in English. A lot of this genocidal rhetoric is often said in Hebrew. They know we can't understand it, so they can say it. Then when they get on American television, they say, "Oh, we're just the victims and we're just trying to survive and look what these bad people did to us." But when they get on Hebrew TV, they start saying things like, "Yeah, we should blow them all up, take all of their villages. They shouldn't be able to return home."

Analysis of the Double Standard

He says, "Nobody should pity the Gazans. Oh, I'm hungry," referring to how Gazans say they're hungry, but according to him nobody should pity them. Not the elderly, not the children, not the women, none of them. Don't pity any of them. Who you should pity instead are the Israelis that can't go back to their homes. So don't pity the Gazans who also can't go back to their homes and who are starving and whose children were just killed. You shouldn't pity them. You should pity the Israelis who have probably already found another home. They're not living in refugee camps. Where are the displaced Israelis living? We see where the displaced Palestinians live. Where did the displaced Israelis live? With friends, family members, they find new apartments, they find new places to live. They get displaced, but they get taken care of by American tax dollars. But the Gazans have to live in tents, they have to beg for food if they get any at all, they watch their children be buried alive. And he says, don't feel sorry for them.

Broader Implications for American Support

We've just got to keep our eye on the ball here. This society has really devolved into something very, very dangerous and scary, and it should be showcased any chance we can show it so that people start understanding this is what we're supporting, this is what our tax dollars are going toward, and this is exactly why Americans are rejecting this.
